Izaruk
Would someone add the dawnbreaker enchant to bound weapons please? Preferably in addition to the enchants already on it from the perks. Edited February 8, 2012 by Izaruk
Izaruk
Seriously? No one likes this idea? After all this time, not a single reply?
Lokiron
This doesn't sound that hard. Go to the mod talk and get help to do it yourself :)
Izaruk
I already have. I hit a brick wall trying. I first tried adding the meridia's retribution effect to the bound weapon enchant with no luck. Then I opened up the weapon and swapped the default enchant with dawnbreakers. Both cause the game to crash when I would cast bound sword. I then looked at the script and saw nothing specific to the weapons object ID. So I'm at a loss on what to do next. Lokiron
I had a quick look at it. Have only made one piece of armor in the GECK so I know very little. But I think if you can figure out how the Soul Stealer perk works, you can add the dawnbreaker enchant similarly. I made it work, I think, but I somehow lost the graphics on the sword. A guard I hit did burn, though. Edited March 2, 2012 by Lokiron
Lokiron
I tested on undeads as well and the script part works as well. They sometimes resist; is this a problem? I added DA09EncDawnbreakeScriptEffect (mag 1, dur 10) and DA09EnchDawnbreakerEnchFireDamageFFContact (mag 10, dur 0). Still no graphics.. This is a problem with either of the two effects. Lokiron
Adding a regular fire damage enchant effect to the BoundSwordEffect also makes it invisible.
