regor
When I try to add a second companion, all CM commands work except "Share". The second companion responds, but displays no inventory, so items cannot be exchanged. Is there some way to overcome this?
Aliro
Which version of the mod are you using? If you have not upgraded to 1.8, I would suggest doing so. The latest version fixed several annoying little problems, but I don't know if that is one of them. I am using 1.8, and I do not have this problem. I believe you can have up to six companions, but I have never used more than two, myself. --Aliro
iaai03
1.8 tells you how to update all lower version mods. I have about 150 CM companions, many i have updated myself. 1.8 says that all mods using cm must be at the same version. Also, I went into the cs and changed how many companions i can have and how many can be in a complex scene, etc. The default is 6 and 20. The game periodically gives you companions too. Also, when you edit a cm mod you will get an error if you didn't load the esp for the accompanying esm file, so I always load this too. I use the old version of toaster to recruit an organize my companions and then dismiss them when I want that group to use the cm commands (join). I had about 80 active in the battle in Bruma for the large gate: yes, it was very slow and choppy. I mainly use them as mannequins [sic?]. This also worked at the palace but the temple battle removes them until the battle is over -- you only get the ones you take with you.
