Daedthr
Hey, so I'm trying to get back into modding for Oblivion and Skyrim after not having done it for some time, and am no longer sure what version of nifskope people around here are using. I'm a blender 2.49b user and my natural inclination would be to use nifskope version 1.1.0 RC6 along with NifUtilsSuite, but I can no longer find a download for this version of nifskope so if anyones got one that would be great (all the sites I've looked on don't seem to have the .exe). Failing that, what version and setup are people using at the moment that can deal with both Oblivion and Skyirm .nifs? Thanks! EDIT: I'm dumb I already have Nifskope installed, ignore me! Surilindur
Not exactly 1.1.0 RC6, but there seems to be at least 1.1.3 on the Github page in the releases section, in addition to some new versions, as well: https://github.com/niftools/nifskope/releases As a disclaimer, I have no idea how to work with meshes at all. Just posting that link in case someone stumbles across this thread in the future, looking for a NifSkope download. Other than that, the NifTools site might be a good place to start looking: http://www.niftools.org/ Edited April 17, 2017 by Contrathetix
Algabar
On a side note: If you're using Blender 2.49, you can install Blender nifscripts (v.2.5.9, NOT the current one, which is 2.6.0) and import/export nifs directly.https://github.com/niftools/blender_nif_plugin/releases I'd rather recommend working with the current version of Blender and using 2.49 just as an importing and exporting tool, but thats OFC up to you.
