jsayre9
Alright, so my question is this... I've been looking at the CK wiki for the tutorials and I've watched all the tuts that have been posted (also Ive been reading many of the tuts) But I have not seen one that pertains to adding buildings/ towns into the open world area.. (like the player housing mods that have sprung up on the nexus already (Riverwood/Ivarstead)) My question is. What cell do I need to open to add? is it Tamriel? and is there a way to specify easily where on the map you would like to look? (when I go to whiterunworld it just says wilderness a lot and im having trouble navigating) I understand that the insides of the buildings would be different cells linked into the game But im not sure where to add i guess... Also where is this steam workshop located? (how to navigate to it) Id rather not just use Nexus or Workshop but Id like to use both...I just cant find workshop. KHCloud
I'd suggest looking at the Oblivion Construction Set or the Fallout GECK tuts on the basics like adding things to the worldspace, making your own interiors etc, at least until the tuts get in full flow for the Skyrim CK . . . GoodfellowGoodspring
To edit a city you open up that cities' cell, to edit open cities or wilderness you find it under the wilderness cells, to add a building you find the mesh you want under 'static' then drag it into the render window, quite easy really :D
