rungok
Hello Nexus! It's my first time actually making my own mods in a looong time. I remember making a few for Morrowind but they were pretty much just adding a chest with some starting gear in balmora. I have been a long time user of the nexus site, for all the sweet mods for Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Skyrim. I'm amazed how much that was done before the creation kit even came out! But I've had this idea for making a mod of my own, with a new Dragon shout I thought fit eerily into the game's mechanics. And when the Creation kit came out I downloaded it this morning and decided that I would get back into this and make my ideas a reality. Heck, maybe I'd go back to NV and make my mass effect omnitool Pipboy replacement that I always wanted to do. (But have no modeling ability worth speaking of with 3D max) But as I stare at the creation kit I realized two things:This looks a lot like the old editor that Morrowind had but with new stuff in it, and I COMPLETELY forgot how to use it. What I want to do is make a new dragon shout with new audio clips for the words, and have a sustained effect like the dragon's versions of the breath are. I also want the effect to look like the fire breath but be a different color. I wouldn't mind some help figuring this all out, and perhaps tying them all to a word wall I can cram somewhere out of the way and difficult to get to. Would any one have any suggestions/tips/instructions for this newbie modder?
rungok
*bump* I still haven't figured this out myself. I've been muddling around with it, but am stuck trying to figure out how to create a spell effect so I can link it to my dragon shout/words. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
