blazeganja
First time modding and using FOMM. When I launch the game using NVSE, it doesn't crash, but when I get to the main screen, nothing appears (New game, Settings, Exit game) I'm forced to alt tab, which is where I see the error box "Missing Master, Please check mod load order" I then used FNVEdit to try to find the issue, but it just caused more confusion. Saying something about the DeadMoney DLC file is duplicated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: Purr4me Fixed the issue. Load order is below. Purr4me
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\] Setting Resource Path you can't run NVSE in that location, windows won't allow it to run correctly without issues cropping up.The load order is still wrong too. blazeganja
Do I also move the PN_NVSE to the main new vegas folder too? Edited April 18, 2017 by blazeganja
dubiousintent
I think you are misunderstanding Purr4me. You need to move the entire "Steam" tree out from under "C:\Program Files". That is a system protected tree which causes problems for games. Please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for "why" and how to move it. Once you have move Steam, please see the 'Checklist Item #4' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide to ensure NVSE is properly placed and functioning. The PN_NVSE.DLL file belongs under the "Data\NVSE\Plugins" folder, which you may need to create manually. -Dubious-
blazeganja
Oh, I did misunderstand. I moved the file to C:\Games, and changed my steam download directory to C:\Games. My game was running fine in C:\Program Files (x86) though. Edit: Game is crashing on launch now.Edit2: Only crashes when launching through FOMM, NVSE_Loader launches fine. Also I believe my NVSE is properly placed now, moving it fixed the error I was having in the first place. And I managed to get an ENB working, something I could never do in Skyrim for some reason. Purr4me
I can provide the correct templates for FOMM's use to resort your load order correctly as it is still incorrect, however, you will need to start a new game from that point. I can send the link to the download template 7z package VIA PM. I have not in two months logged into my server Free account, it's been a while. In your game main folder, you will see a folder called Install Info...this is where fomm draws it's update info from.you place two file from me in there and then you wont have load order issues any more.but you need to ask 1rst.
