Most endorsed recently added files

Why does this list include the updated mods? Shouldn't it be the most endorsed brand new added files? From what i remember, that wasn't the case a couple of months back. Its harder now to find new interesting plugins, because of the list consisting of the already well known mods. Right now on the list, most mods are from december/january, and there are even some november ones. These are easy to navigate, there is most endorsed files of all time list, and you can filter each category by endorsements too, why this one is also occupied by them?
