"Workbench LocChange" message

So recently a message has started popping up in the top right of my screen that reads "Workbench LocChange" and i am unsure what may be causing this.

the only workbench related mods i have are, Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR), and, Armorsmith Extended.

The location of the workbenches don't actually change as the message would suggest so I am clueless as to why I'm getting this message at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To be honest, I have never seen this message before.

How often does it pop up? Only when you are near sanctuary or a workbench in general?

Do you have any other mods that alter settlements or crafting (like alternate settlements or such), etc. ?

And last question: Does it actually do anything besides popping up, or is it just an annoyance?

After playing more i found that it pops up when im near any type of workbench anywhere in the world, and going through all the mods ive recently downloaded i cannot find the culprit.

the only other settlement focused mods i have are, Don't quit your day job - crafting npc's, STOP... hammer time - removed sanctuary idle markers, Settlement limits slashed - Far harbor edition.

it doesnt seem to do much more other than pop up, i was just worried that suddenly my workbenches will be gone but none of the workbenches have actually moved.

Ok, I've taken a look at those mods, and found an interesting feature in the mod "Don't quit your day job". Under the "Holotape Options" part in the description it describes a feature called "Workbench Detection Mode" and voila, under that tab it lists the codephrase "LocationChange".

So what I can make out of it, is that is simply part of this mod, telling you that it has detected a compatible workbench for your settlers to "work" on.

As I anticipated, this message is almost certainly harmless. You could try to tweak the options of the mod ingame, or deactivate it, to see if the message disappears.

I hope this helps resolve your issue or at least give some closure.

Have a good one

that mod was causing the issue, thanks.

it seems there's no way to turn off the notifications so i'll just disable it and let the mod author know that it would be nice to be able to turn that feature off.

The message is harmless, just annoying. I see it all the time, but don't think it worth disabling the mod over.
