How do I create a basic mod with the CK?

I've checked the tutorial pages, it shows how to create an empty ESP.

But it doesn't tell you how to put anything in it...

 

For instance how would I go about putting some perks, lets say BACKSTAB in my newly created ESP package for editing?

In SkyEdit you mark the stuff you want to edit as active then you save the file, no idea how to do that with the CK.

I see the values I change gets an asterisk, is there anyways to filter the files I've changed to make it easier to find them? Also I seem to be unable to just load my ESP, it has to load the main skyrim.esm file every time...

Of course it does. Thats where all the graphics etc reside.

Your mod will only contain references to the premade stuff in the master files. :)

 

.. Unless you make your own graphics I suppose.
