MoonSweets
Hello, The Creation Kit hasn't been released already and many mods are already running by, some of them being very amazing in the way they tweak the game. As a player and TES fan I surely want to improve my gaming experience with mods, like you, and so for we can't always see "what people want" and "what modders can do" meeting nicely I've thought of a wishlist. Here I will first tell about the changes or improvements I'd like to see in the game but this is also a place for you to join in, tell what you'd like to see, more eagerly or not.Rate ideas, give modders inspiration and an idea of what the community wants to see come alive ingame! For the following ideas I've tried as much as possible to base them on features already present in the game, such as already existing spells or so... in hope it can ease the work of modders.[up] The CK has been released! To make the wishlist more clear I've split it into several parts (other may be added at need) with main topics that are: CompanionsImmersion - Graphic EnhancementSkills - Magic You may wish to submit your suggestions in the proper categories or start a more appropriate one. Then we can create some polls to get an idea of what everybody's more interested into. Abreviations:CK: Creation KitRS: Radiant Story ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPANIONS Human companionsHave more than one companion at a timeDeeper, unique companions with proper personality not fading into "standard companion dialogues"Companions may crush over a non-owned item and take it. If they have thievery skills they may steal (crouch and take while non-companion NPCs aren't watching)Thanks to a loyalty variable your companions may become less or more loyal depending on your actions. Your leadership can be questioned if you have too many companions and don't make sure they can eat, sleep, etc. You will have to beat the rebel through either persuasion, intimidation, corruption or brawling. The most loyal ones may brawl in to help, the less truthworthy may get in to beat your a**. Have more interactions with human companionsUse this item (ie: cure disease potion, lute, spell tome, place bear trap...)Don't use this item (ie: don't wear that stupid helm, don';t use my enchanted sword...)Sell these items when you can (ie: once in town NPC goes selling and comes back, thieves can go to fences - think of improving their haggling skills)Play/sing (if character is a bard) / alone or as a band if you have other bard companionsFull inventory accessGive animal companion (ie: now you have a horse)Ride your horseDefine combat role: healer, tanker, fire mage, etc.Define group role: propose to become a band of bards, rogues, knights, priests... (persuade, intimidate, corrupt, brawl) Faction companionsAsk other members of your faction to come on a RS mission with you. You may have to persuade them according to your rank and theirs, to the difficulty of the mission and their own level. Animal companionsYou can tame animals to get new companions (less or more easily depending on the specie, it takes more guts to tame a bear or a dragon than a fox). See Tame. There would be a limitation to the amount of companions of a same specie depending on the specie (avoir the overkill horde of dragons but keeps the fun of the rabbit army)Large or dangerous animals are not allowed in cities without the Jarl's specific autorisation (still you must deal this with the guards if you're not a Thane)When you can enter the city with your animals you can show them to make money. Reactions from the population may vary. You may avoid to show your dragon...You can tell your animals to go to a hideout when you get close from a city. While your horse fast travels to the stables the less casual animals travels to the hideout. Hideouts should be provided.Daedras are considered as animal companions. It requires time and power to make them "loyal". As soon as they are free they may attack people, randomly cast fireballs or runes, etc. (also see Conjuration Pact)Train your animal companion to make it more resistant, more powerful, faster, etc. Some funny animal companions able to talk, needing care if you don't want them to start annoying you, let you fight alone, etc. HorsesSaddle bags to carry some of your stuff. Possibility to add a carriage and get your OWN carriage to carry your gear. Or carry people and create your own carriage/delivery service.Tame/claim yours a non-owned horse so it won't leave you when getting off it.Whistle to call your horse (dog too)Trample down your enemies on your sprinting horse! (with size consideration, you won't trample bears and dragons but rather people and wolves)Horses are scared by the use of magic and Th'um (so you have to make your horse get used to it) Companion bagsYour companion has a bag that you can activate like a chest to store items. The bag has a weight limitation just as your companion but at least it avoids having to talk. The bag could have a mesh variation (small, big, huge) to visually show the encumbrance. If possible it could be fun to have buckles on the bag in which you could stuck large weapons that should not fit inside the bag and be able to grab them like the one on the display cases. The player should have a bag. Seriously, I don't want to know where my gear is hidden... Edited February 8, 2012 by MoonSweets
