An amazing idea/resource that shouldn't be left to fizzle and die..

Not too long ago, jasperthegnome just made a resource(or a mod..I THINK..) that could be the beginning of something absolutely amazing..in theory, it would allow someone to make a mod that could possibly make many parts of an armor(vanilla or possibly otherwise) and split them apart, make the whole suit modular. What I see in this is the possibility to make more armors, clothing, and outfits for males! Now before you up and leave and try to frame me for being gay(I'd care less you did) hear me out. Females have...an untold amount of armors/clothing sets/outfits dedicated to them, many of them have more parts than usual to use, resulting in more armor rating/enchantable parts for them to use. So far, I've only seen two.. TWO modular armor mods for males that were made by Hoamaii in the past and by now he has has either quit the community, or just stopped modding. Now, this resource/mod thing that jasper can probably be made to be used for females too...but wouldn't it just be fair if it was used to make more things for males? Please, any of you interested mod authors that make armor/outfit/clothing mods take a look at the link. It'd be a same if this thing just fell into obscurity.

From a cursory reading, it doesn't seem like the goal of that project is to create modular armors so much as it's to provide modular pieces to people who want to make mashup outfits.

Also, as a mod author, if you're expecting people to fall in love with your project and contribute to it, you're most likely going to be very disappointed. I'm not saying it doesn't happen occasionally, but you really shouldn't count on it. I realize the mod has only been up for a short time. But, the fact that it only consists of 2 and a half belts that the mod author apparently didn't even do himself leaves me very pessimistic about the future of this mod.

I'll agree that female characters have a larger outfit selection overall. But a lot of that has to do with the fact that they only ever wear a quarter of it at a time. Ba-dum, psssh.
