So I removed them totally and started a fresh clean brand new game with no companion mods installed. ZERO - So Preston dismisses. Codsworth dismisses. Dogmeat goes home. But Ada, I get no prompt as to where to send here. I cannot dismiss her at all? Anyone else or someone found an answer to this? Thanks - .. Jj ... jjb54 Posted April 21, 2017 Author Share Posted April 21, 2017 ADDED: I did find the console command: cf 'actor.setcompanion" false false That did work, just that I'm not a fan of using console commands too much in a game, as I have found too many times can cause ' issues ' ... jjb54 Posted April 21, 2017 Author Share Posted April 21, 2017 Part II - ( I think .... ) I've narrowed it down to when the problem starts with not being able to " Dismiss Ada ". I went to a prior saved game - BEFORE - I used the Robo-Bench. She can be dismissed easily and with NO issues. But .... as soon as I use the Robo-bench, to add anything to her - then she is NOT able to be dismissed? It seems, either: A - If I use the bench on her. B - If I do not use the bench on her, but create another Bot and/or add something to Codsworth, then the problem starts. Then I have to resort to the Console Command posted above. At this point - with the Mechanist Quest finished. I simply will not use her anymore. Maybe assign her to garden care and/or Provision Supply Line. .. Jj ...
