joriandrake
So, I use a lot of mods by now, but I still can't find one that I would really wish to have: A mod that allows to strip all the enchantments of one item and place it on an other. As example, take all the enchantments from a dragon mask and place it on a circlet, or take some enchantments from an armor and place it on another which you actually like the looks of. Preferably with ability to rename newly enchanted item again. Is there such a mod somewhere that I just overlooked? If not, can someone please make it? Moredhel
I'd also like a mod which allows you to strip an enchant off a shield (like fire resist) and put it on your armor. I really hate the fact I can't find any good armor enchants for my warrior, all I see is magicka-based :(

With all the new and great looking clothes/armor it becomes a bigger and bigger problem as the new items would be more useful if what I wish for would be possible. But as said, it helps you with the armor fire resistance issue I assume :) Edited February 8, 2012 by joriandrake

Extremely useful with all the new craftable/enchantable standalone mods out there. I guess I should have called this "move enchantment" mod as it isn't really a swap, but meh, am not english and that was the first I came up with. :/ Edited February 8, 2012 by joriandrake

MidevalGuy
The whole point of unique items e.g. dragon masks, Daedric artifacts, etc. is that they are unique to the world in Skyrim, so you shouldn't be able to take those enchantments and put them on anything you want. I know this is a single-player game and you can play however you want with mods, but this is a case where Bethesda probably doesn't want you to lore break certain things for the sake of immersion. I haven't tried breaking down Dawnbreaker, for example, but I am pretty sure the game won't let you because of its unique enchantments and even if you did, you need high enchanting/alchemy (which I know is not a problem for most players) because once you try to re-enchant another item with Dawnbreakers properties it probably won't have the same amount of potency and/or be missing the second component even if you use dual enchant perks. I can't confirm this, but I have a feeling this is a safeguard against players taking the unique items and just crafting God-like items even beyond what can already be crafted/enchanted out of vanilla weapons, apparel, etc. However, there are a few mods that may, or may not be what the OP is asking for (this thread dating back almost two years now): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31967/? <-- Disenchatment Font (Fountain) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87947408 <-- Disenchanted Unique Items e.g. Dawnbreaker, Mehrunes Razor, etc. I know this isn't exactly what the OP and others want, but you might try contacting the mod authors (if still active) of these two mods and finding out if what the OP wants can actually be done and/or how to go about doing it if they don't want to. joriandrake
To be honest, despite the time, I still didn't find what I was looking for. Also, I have no problem with an item/enchantment being unique, the idea was to have those mix-match as you wish to have the looks of what we want, so let's say if you wear an elven armor you could stick the specific dragon priest helmet powers on an elven helmet to not mess it up. This is why I didn't write copy-multiply items or powers anywhere, just to take them from one item and move it to another. Might be slightly gamey if you move powers between heavy and light armor as example, but other than that it is strictly due to having the visual looks of what you want for yourself, or maybe for a follower of yours.
