Does it crash whenever you enter any store at all? (ex. Acacia's Cauldron) Any interior at all? What kind of crash? How far are you in the game? duchessnukem Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 So, if you can clarify -- -You attempt to enter Whiterun (the city) and crash?-You attempt to enter the Riverwood Traders, and you crash? If the two above statements are true, I'm sorry to say that it sounds like whatever you did to your npcs is causing the problem. Even if you removed the "mod" from the data folder. Can you tell if the effects of the mod still persist even after you took them out of the folder? In what way did you edit them? Did the NPC editor created a .esp file that you then put in your data folder? If you took that out, are you loading a save before you tried using the mod? Because if you attempt to load a save that you made while using the mod, the effects will probably still be there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ZephyrX2 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Share Posted February 8, 2012 thats what i was just thinking i took the esp file out but i noticed with a test i just did that the NPC editor makes a mesh folder too so i think if i delete the mesh folder in the Data folder it should delete any remains of the mod right? Yes. The thing you have to remember is that the issues you were having will still occur unless you load a save from before you activated the mod and continue on from there. If you load a save you made while the mod was activated, then you'll have the same problems (and maybe even more, now that the mod is gone completely). Tell me if that works.
