HellfireWarlocks
In my Launcher under DATA Files I misstook the two files (HighResTexturePack01.esp and HighResTexturePack02.esp) for Mods I once downloaded and deleted them. Anyone got an idea how to get them back? I am not able to simply re-install the free DLC since it shows I still got it. I haven't found any of the files via Google to download either. Appreciate the help
TheOutlander
You don't need the esps as long as you didn't delete the bsa files too. How to use the new Official Hi-Res texture pack with user created mods: 1. Disable or delete the esps that came with the official texture pack. 2. Backup then open SteamAppsCommonSkyrimSkyrim_default.ini & DocumentsMy GamesSkyrimSkyrim.ini 3. Change this in both files: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa' date=' Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa To this: [Archive'] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa 4. Save both files. Now user created mods will be able to override what they need to override in the official texture pack. If you really really want the esps back, or you did delete the bsas too, then: Right click Skyrim in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of the Game Cache That will redownload what you are missing.
