zach42
Hello, I would consider myself a veteran modder and I have dealt with an obscene amount of crashes and incompatibilities with Fallout 3, but this one has left me stumped.It appears that whenever I encounter any type of raider or talon company merc (No other NPCs exhibit this behavior), they will be hostile and will shout taunts, but they will not draw their weapons but only run up to me and stare at me. I've tried disabling all of my mods and it seemed to fix the problem, but no matter what combination I run the mods or what load order I try out, the problem is still apparent. Oddly enough, when I encounter the glitchy enemies and immidiately save and load my game, they attack me like nothing happened. And occasionally they will pull out their weapon, fire once or twice, and then the weapon disappears (not even holstered) and they just stare at me again. If anyone has any idea what is going on it would be incredibly helpful.Thanks a ton-Zach Btw, here is my load order: [X] Fallout3.esm[X] Anchorage.esm[X] ThePitt.esm[X] BrokenSteel.esm[X] PointLookout.esm[X] Zeta.esm[X] StreetLights.esm[X] Inventory Access.esm[ ] CALIBR.esm[X] Vault 101 Revisited.esm[X] CubeExperimental (EN).esm[X] GNRBuilding_BoS.esm[X] Mothership Crew.esm[X] Alton, IL.esm[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esm[X] RHKBrisaAlmodovar.esm[X] Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow.esm[X] RI_Core.esm[X] IMCN.esm[X] RRCompanionVault.esm[X] TSC Air Support.esm[X] RRGuards.esm[X] RR5MoreMales.esm[X] RR5MoreFemales.esm[X] DCInteriors_ComboEdition.esm[X] EnhancedChildren.esm[X] AliciasCuteShop.esm[X] RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm[X] FNNCQ.esm[X] MyDog - Globals (keep this active).esm[X] MyDog.esm[X] Sydney Follower.esp[X] merc_2.esp[X] YearlingsGlasses.esp[ ] CALIBRxMerchant.esp[X] WeaponModKits.esp[X] WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp[X] WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp[X] WeaponModKits - BrokenSteel.esp[X] WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp[X] WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_VanillaPlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_AnchoragePlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_PittPlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_BrokenSteelPlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_PointLookoutPlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Basic_ZetaPlugin.esp[X] RH_IronSights_Pitt_NewRifleSights.esp[X] RH_IronSights_RemoveReticule.esp[X] RH_IronSights_PL_NewItems.esp[X] WMK-RH IronSights.esp[X] Existence2.0.esp[X] UPP - Pack 1.esp[X] UPP - Pack 2.esp[X] UPP - Original Perks.esp[X] UPP - Experience Perks.esp[X] UPP - Quest Perks.esp[X] AReasonedArgument.esp[X] PLweightadjust.esp[X] PLFewerItems.esp[X] TecVault.esp[X] Glow Sticks.esp[X] RRWastelandPosters.esp[X] RR Vanilla Companion Integration.esp[X] BusworldV1.05d.esp[X] DriveableMotorCycle.esp[X] StreetLightsaddendum.esp[X] CrowdedCities_v2.esp[X] Named Wasteland.esp[X] 01AtM - Firefly Ranch.esp[X] AliciasCuteShopDoorOverride.esp[X] DCInteriors_DLC_Collectables.esp[X] GNRBuilding_Studio.esp[X] UndergroundHideout.esp[X] DALCO Fixes for Underground Hideout.esp[X] 12BoltDivingHelmet.esp[X] Improved Turret Hacking - ALL.esp[X] safe_regulator_hq.esp[X] ScavengerWasteland.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp[X] ARC - Assembled Robotic Companions.esp[X] RHKBrisaAlmodovar - DLC - Anch.esp[X] CompanionPowerup.esp[X] BLTC.esp[X] BLTC Immersion Patch.esp[X] TSC Air Support.esp[X] Imp's More Complex Needs.esp[X] IMCN - 5 DLC Merged.esp[X] IMCN - BLTC Compatibility and Ingestibles.esp[X] IMCN - MMM Meats, Bloods, and Eyeballs.esp[X] MZC Addon-Olympus Armory (forecefield).esp[X] MZC Addon - MZC-IMCN Patch.esp[X] MZC-NPC-Tyranid-Xenomorph.esp[X] MZC-Patch-UH-Teleporter.esp[X] Attentater's Wasteland Economy.esp[X] BoS Diversification.esp[X] KillableChildren.esp[X] KillableChildren - MMM.esp[X] yaDisguisesMod.esp[X] yaDisguisesMod-DLC-Anchorage.esp[X] yaDisguisesMod-DLC-BrokenSteel.esp[X] yaDisguisesMod-DLC-ThePitt.esp[X] Fellout-pipboylight.esp[X] Clean-Deluxe GOTY.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow in Fallout.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Weather Sounds in Interiors.esp[X] Enhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.esp[X] Fellout-Full.esp[X] Fellout-Anchorage.esp[X] Fellout-BrokenSteel.esp[X] Fellout-PointLookout.esp[X] Fellout-Zeta.esp[X] Pilotable Vertbird by Arlix.esp[X] Portable Turrets.esp[X] BeefedUpCitadel.esp[X] Dynamic Repair.esp[X] Dynamic Repairing - Mart's Mutant Mod.esp[X] RR Companion Vault Attackers.esp[X] ArlingtonDefenses.esp[X] Fort Independence Expanded.esp[X] YetAnotherPurgeCellBuffersPlugin.esp[X] [Calsar]SteelIgnotBars.esp[X] Dynamic Repair - The Pitt.esp[X] Dynamic Repair - Anchorage.esp[X] Caravan Tracking.esp[X] RR Companions 200 Follow Distance.esp[X] Point Lookout Lower Health.esp[X] ACE2-0.esp[ ] Error Fixes V1.5 - Higher FPS.esp[ ] Error Fixes V1.5 - FastTravelIndoors.esp[ ] Error Fixes V1.5 - Fellout.esp[X] AlienShield.esp[X] Water_Tower_Hideout_byOrophin.esp[X] AcquiredImmunity.esp[X] Dynamic Repair - Broken Steel.esp[X] Dynamic Repair - Point Lookout.esp[X] WastelandMastery.esp[X] NightvisionGoggles(Powered).esp[X] MaxLevelWorkaround-BS.esp[X] Sydney Follower - Load Order Fix.esp[X] MasterUpdate.esp[X] TheInstitute.esm[ ] K2_PlayWearClub.esp[ ] Devoured in Darkness.esp[X] MTC Wasteland Travellers.esp[ ] MTC Wasteland Travellers (Optional)- Crowded Cities.esp Edited February 9, 2012 by zach42

zach42
At first I thought that the glitch might have had something to do with the disguise mod, but even with those plugins deactivated I was still getting the problem.New developments by the way. It appears that when I am far away from the raiders or talon company, they will engage and attack enemies (such as a deathclaw yesterday) and they use their weapons like normal, but when I get within about 100 meters, their weapons disappear and they resume to glitch up.I've tried every possible combination of mods and even vanilla (which works fine, although when I reactivate my mods the problem persists), but I haven't been able to pinpoint the problem. If anyone would be able to help, I would be eternally grateful-Zach, a desperate modder
rickerhk
From my experience, you have a mod that is running a FOSE script to add tokens to nearby actors in order to run checks on them. This will glitch their inventory (if an odd number of tokens are added in a gamemode script).I know [X] Inventory Access.esm does this, but I haven't seen IMP's mods cause the problem, unless you have yet another mod adding tokens to enemies at the same time. Not sure if IMCN uses Inventory Access.esm, put i'm pretty sure Powered power armor uses it - but I don't see that mod in your list. I'd remove it if not needed. If you click on a raider in console mode, and type:inv <enter>you should be able to determine what the tokens are, and their mod index.
zach42
Thanks rickerhk! I hadn't even thought about InventoryAccess.esm. At one time I used Powered Power Armor but it became something of a nuisance with the number of mods I was running so I scrapped it and somehow I left InventoryAccess.esm on the list. I'll try to delete it when I get home. In other news, it seemed to at least temporarily fix the glitch if I moved the weapons modification plugins farther down on my load order, but raiders still exhibit the non-violent behavior (Talon company is fixed fortunately). I will definitely check out the tokens thing because I haven't really heard of that before (I'm more of a mod user than a mod maker). P.S.Rickerhk, I absolutely loved your Brisa Almodovar mod in Fallout 3, just a quick fanboy comment :DKudos!
