yuiop
Hi, I was wondering how I might go about removing parts from a some of the default models from Skyrim. The bear-skin cape on the Stormcloak Officer armor in particular. Whenever I try to select it in Nifskope it selects the entire model. Does anyone have any give me some directions or point me to a tutorial that would help me with this?
Babageee
ive been trying to do something like that, but not having a lot of luck ether I think you would need to edit the mesh in something like "blender" thats the only way i managed to do it export the object from nifskope and then import object into blender, edit it, export it out of blender and import it back into nifskope (making sure to import over the original item). thats as far as i got really, there a whole host of issues that i keep coming across - such as nifskope assigning redundant attributes to the item that skyrim dosnt use. and braking links with ones it dose use. what got me that far was this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2158 however the collision data is different in my edited items (buildings) and i have no idea how to sort that out. good luck
