Valfreze Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Hi, it's my first time to attempt modding and I came to a stump while following the tutorials so I was wondering if anyone would be able to shine some light upon the matter. When I initially loaded Creation Kit, with all the mods in Skyrim, nothing loaded in the Object Window or Cell View like below:http://s15.postimage.org/mvdwzxbiz/image.pngSo I thought perhaps that I'd need to try it on Vanilla, and unloaded all mods but still get the same issue. Am I supposed to be seeing this? I searched throughout the internet to find any related topics but to no avail... the tutorial on www.creationkit.com appears to automatically assume there are a list of interiors loaded to complete the first tutorial and I cannot seem to go further. Under some categories, there are a few objects, but it seems like a huge chunk of it is missing (for example, Cell View>Default World shows only Landscape, Object Window>Actor only shows Player). JDFan Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 You need to load the Skyrim.esp file since it holds all of the items right now you just have the blank CK with nothing loaded ! Go to the top and Select File - Data - chose Skyrim.esp and press OK -- then wait while it loads everything (can take awhile depending on your system) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mine also doesn't respond when loading skyrim.esm.I use Skyrim.esm file, if it doesnt load anything in the object view then close the object view window and go to the view tab at the top and open object view from there again.
