xneogenicx
Heyy! :D This thing bugged me the most during my first 100 hours and my first char:I somehow rushed smithing , which at the end destroyed my Skyrim experience, because every loot you'll find is worse than the things you already have after 20 hours. I abused fast travel, the "T" key and the fact that merchants sell ALL types of ingots and ore.Because of that mining (and to some extent looting pelt) was completely useless and just 'a neat thing to do'. So by removing the possibility to abuse the shop system it would create the need for searching, thus creating a new rewarding task to do, while at the same time heavily increasing immersion. It would also create the need to actively hunt for leather (While writing this I could imagine a mod centered around hunting, with a new perk tree and additional benefits from hunting animals. The increase in immersion would be insane!) Sure I could just ignore the possibility of the merchants selling all the things I need, but that wouldn't feel right... and I know I WILL use it sometimes. There should be the possibility to choose different versions:1. Merchs selling no ores, no ingots and no leather (and leather strips)2. Ammount of smithing materials sold is extremely reduced, but not at zero. Rare ores are very unlikely to find for sale. It takes more than 24 hours to get more of these in stock.3. The same as 2, but with no rare materials for sale (only a small ammount of leather and iron. For example 3-5 iron ingots/ore and leather (or pelt)) I would do it myself, but I have never been into modding TES games. I've sadly not enough time to get myself into modding at the moment, so it would be awesome if someone can make that passible (even with my not-native-language-english-description ;))
