jjb54 Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017 I got frustrated, even after starting a clean new game - that once I used the Robot Bench, Ada will not dismiss, no matter what I tried. The current game was with NO follower type mods, which initially I thought was the issue, and now proved to not be the case. It seems, especially with Robot Followers, Ada more specifically - Once you use it, Robot Work Bench - Ada will not dismiss. So I created this simple bat file and it works great on any Follower that will not dismiss. I even can have the mulit-follower mod that I really liked. The bat file: ; Dismiss FO 4 follower Bat File cf "actor,setcompanion" false false ; end of bat file - save as dismiss.txt.; then in console command - ~ ( to enter console command) click on follower to dismiss and type: Bat dismiss.; save in your fallout 4 root directory. aus564 Posted June 28, 2021 Share Posted June 28, 2021 yo, new to this, and have had some problems with companions, got a fix to work for getting ada off my arse, but now synth curie wont follow, or let herself be dismissed. I tried to make the file, both as a batch and as a txt files, and neither work. I am fairly sure iv messed up somewhere, because it just will not work.must i restart the game after each change to the file? and what exactly line for line, is within the file itself. as all of the miscellaneous use's of the character ";;" confused me if they should be there or not.
