McBaal
Alright, someone has to request it...I guess there are a lot of gamers wondering what a damn kind of marriage Bethesda offered us. Short wedding ceremony after buying a creepy amulet, cooking and getting 100 gold every 24 hours? I dont need food because i have my healing spell. And 100 gold? I give a damn about 100 gold, this is nothing. Neither of it is worth calling it a marriage life. Is this a game for children? I mean there are scary dragons, creepy undead, monsters and who knows what else. Fallout 3 has hookers. New Vegas has even more hookers. And Skyrim is offering a marriage reduced to some kind of a small trading company? Admit it, you have been disappointed too. Where are the classic medieval brothels? There are already some mods / savegames referring to the great "Game of thrones" series. But where is "Littlefingers special services corporation" in Skyrim? Bethesda got completely rid of adult content :( This is a fantasy game with a lot of great stuff. But the oldest business on earth is absolutely missing. Think of it: There is this big hero after his normal daily work (hunting down bandits, exploring dark caves, killing some dragons...The usual stuff for a dragonborn 8) ). He walks into the next tavern, drinks some beer, talks about the newest rumors, listens to the bards singing about the dragonborn...And then he realizes that this is all he can expect of a day :armscrossed: I mean who am i? A badass axe throwing dragonborn or Al Bundy? After the daily dragon slaying i want to realy kick back in my local tavern. I am a damn killingmachine, collecting the bones of my enemies to craft them into an armor. I want music, wine and women to spend my battle earned money with style  Since the authors of the popular sexmods from Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas appear to be off business, just hoping "someone will make another sexmod again, just wait for it" is not very promising to me. So my question: Is here anyone able/willing/planning to create what i politely call an "adult mod"? I already checked if converting AP from New Vegas to Skyrim is promising, as far as i know it is not  I dont have Oblivion, so i cant say anything about a conversion from the "sexlivion" mod into Skyrim. There really isn't much in general to do in Taverns. And while watching pixelated sex when I could be fighting dragons sounds kind of crappy to me, I'd definitely be interested in mods that expand on entertainment and taverns. The more there is to do in towns the more immersive the game will get.
PsykozQT
Very well put. It is my belief though, that the japanese will beat us to it once again. Let's face it, they know this stuff:) Altough, if we're talking Sexlivion, I must say I find the idea of collecting sperm as man repulsive. I'll keep my fingers crossed US/EU will be first this time so there might be a little more romance and a little less.. that...
BaconCat
Dude, it's because they had to dedicate 2/3 of their Dev team to make it work for Failbox and CrapStation. On the plus side, it leaves it to the Community Modmakes (aka Actual Competent people.)
cire992
^ The developers aren't competent because they didn't put prostitutes in the game? I don't know about that. Keep in mind these are the people facilitating your virtual sex fantasies. Modder makes the mod, bethsoft makes the modder.
perfection
^ The developers aren't competent because they didn't put prostitutes in the game? I don't know about that. Keep in mind these are the people facilitating your virtual sex fantasies. Modder makes the mod, bethsoft makes the modder. The problem is they did put a brothel and a hooker in the game and don't let you do anything with them, all you get is inuendo. Haelga in the Bunkhouse, in Riften, there are references all over the place to her being a "wicked woman" even a letter addressed to her on the front desk complimenting her on the things she can do while wearing Daedric boots, and you actually get an in game mission to get her to STOP her lascivious lifestyle because her cousin is tired of cleaning up the messes. Hell in the temple of Dibella you also get references to how they teach the basics, and at best you can get a quick flirt from Senna. AND THATS IT! Some double-entendres and flirting. :wallbash: A week or two ago somebody made an announcement that they were working on a sex mod, but then the post disapeared, and I haven't heard anything since. McBaal
I wouldnt call her a hooker or the tavern a brothel. She is just open minded, nothing else
kibblesticks
I have to agree. While I'm don't dowload things with actual sexual content except realistic body mods (if you want porn, the internet is just a click away), I do agree that having something like the interaction with Nova in FO3 is definately needed. The dialouge and implied choice is what increases the role playing value, not seeing the act itself. But Skyrim does lack a certain edge. On top of "sexual" adult content I'd also like to see darker ambience in dungeons and quests and the like. The quest where the house (in winterhold I think) is burnt down and the child's ghost is wandering around gave me chills. It wasn't graphic, it didn't show the family actually burning to death, but it was implied. If you take out tradegy, fear and desire from a world as big as skyrim it can severly impact on the realism. Having said that, I've only explored a fraction of Skyrim so maybe there are other dark quests I've yet to experience (no spoilers please). NamssogDor
 I'd like to also agree with the sentiment stated here! I've been playing TES since TES-2 and while I didn't see any adult content there, I certainly saw a lot of it appear in mods to Morrowind and again in Oblivion. As the games progressed and Beth gave modders more and more tools to work with, the mods got more explicit and the graphics greatly improved to HD quality. When Skyrim started to be promoted Beth (again) advertised it as a "M" rated game and the community jumped on this as representing ADULT content. As I remember, Beth did NOT deny this allegation and left it up to the community to generate the hype and interest in the product - ergo, a big pre-availability market and an even bigger opening day/week sales event (couldn't keep them on the shelves). Talk about a marketing PLOY? Now with the delay of the MUCH awaited for CK - they have again stymied the modding community by locking the thing up in STEAM. I'm not a modder, but I understand that the modders do NOT have free reign to make the mods they want due to Beth/Steam censorship - too bad, until some OPEN tools break free. It won't be long, so until then I'll just play vanilla (with the few GOOD mods available) and bide my time. I love TES and being disabled, I'm glad it doesn't require a great deal of that hand-eye stuff. Keep on keeping on!
KnIgh7 Krawl3r
^ The developers aren't competent because they didn't put prostitutes in the game? I don't know about that. Keep in mind these are the people facilitating your virtual sex fantasies. Modder makes the mod, bethsoft makes the modder. I can only partially agree with that statement! It's a two way street. Without the modders, Beth would NOT be in business. They are lucky to actually release their SDK to the people, knowing "the people" can do a better job. Let me put it differently. If Beth didn't release an SDK kit this year. NO one would buy another one of their broke ass games, because all they do is market how awesome their game is, when it's not even finished when they release it. So many broke features, that should have been in place before release. But knowing that the community is a DIE hard community and will willingly fix their mistakes, Beth releases their game before completion, sticking to release date schedule, and taking advantage of their faithful mod community. Yes they made the mod community. But the Modders made the company, by purchasing their broke games and fixing all that missing shite. So two way street. I agree and disagree :)
