Genadine
OK, so as I said where did all the Dragons go?? I have read quite a few Threads where people are over-run by Dragons but not me nope cannot find one for love nor money. I am starting to think it may be the Mods I'm using which should all really increase not decrease them. Listed are the Mods in load order: Deadly DragonsDragons in the WildWars in SkyrimDeadly Dragons HardcoreDeadly Dragons CraftDeadly Dragons CreatureDeadly DragonsEFDeadly DragonsPISEWars in Skyrim bloodcoins insaneMoarDragons Character is Level 60 having completed All the Quest Lines, I have sat in Whiterun and waited for 30 days am now at a loss for what I can do to make the damn things re-appear having not had one in over 5 hours gameplay mostly running about in the open wilderness. Anya29
Try fast travelling to a few places, they always follow me around can't go to Winterhold or Dawnstar without one appearing. I have all but 3 shouts maxxed out at 3 words, I have killed Alduin and still have 47 Dragon Souls remaining and I'm sick of the sight of them now. Makes it still worthwhile to fight them. It's Dragon Souls to Perk Points.
BlackCompany
I think the 1.3 or 1.4 patch might have relegated them to the background, really. Maybe Bethesda changed the timer monitoring their spawns? They seem to have slowed down for me as well and I don't run mods affecting any creature, more less these. they just...slowed down...one day. Kind of been a nice change, since to be honest they were getting more than a little annoying with their frequency. For reference, with the MQ still active I was able to walk from Riften to Markarth and then back to Falkreath without Dragons. I then fast traveled to Whiterun, and bam! Dragon! All told, four or five in game days without one, and no mods.
CarlCorey
I have literally seen only two dragons since the 1.4 patch. One circled over Riften and then disappeared. It never got close enough to even shoot at.The next circled over the Honningbrew Meadery, it took a few arrows, landed once and then flew away. Two game days later, riding back into Whiterun from Riverwood, I suddenly received a new Dragon Soul for no obvious reason (right by the Honningbrew Meadery). But that's it. EDIT: I never fast travel, ever. Could this be an issue? Edited February 13, 2012 by CarlCorey
scot
I finnished the main quest and never found a random dragon, the ones I found were quest related, this happened even without mods.I heard people saying they find dragons everytime and I´m lucky if I find one XD when I want to fight one I have to sawn it myself just type in the console "placeatme 000fea9b" this one is for the elder dragon to see other dragon´s ID type "help dragon 4".Note that sometimes the dragons you spawn don´t give you a soul. Malakai88
Random spawn rate for dragons in 1.4 seems vastly decreased.
NoobusExtremus
Yep, my dragon encounters are very few and very far between. My last two went like this... Hear dragon roar...look around...see frost dragon...start fighting...get pwned from behind by a bear and a wolf...kill them...kill dragon...get dragon soul. Hear dragon roar...look around...see dragon overhead...watch dragon fly straight up into the sun and never come back. It would be nice to see more dragons; as I see it, encounters should be somewhere between never and every time you turn the corner. I have started to do more main quest objectives, so maybe I'll start seeing a few more dragons flying around.
