bamfigms
I like to use companion commands in my playthroughs, positioning your companion as so they can take the high point and rain arrows/spells, or send them in to tank while you rain down the damage, can really make the game more fun. Or make hard battles easier. With that said. Having to talk to your companion to give them commands is about as clunky and worthless as any interface can be. Anybody have any ideas on how to make a key that, when pressed opens up the companion command interface? Something like a squad command from other games. This is probably way beyond my abilities right now, but I would rather try to make it myself than ask else to do it.
GomuGomu64
I suppose you could get something like AutoHotKey, where it records what you have inputted (Mouse movement, keys pressed, etc) and assigns those to a particular key. If I remember correctly, it's free too.
bamfigms
Thanks for the idea. But as far as i understand that wouldn't really work, because the automatic movements wouldn't work, because your companion and you, are both constantly moving around. Also, it would still be slow because you have to talk to the companion. Then there is the fact that you can't talk to them in battle.
