You recommendations for first playthrough mods!

First time poster. Not long ago I got Fallout: New Vegas and all the mods and shortly after Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition from Steam's winter sale, and I finally have time to play both. After playing a little bit of New Vegas before I got Fallout 3, going into 3 feels weird almost entirely due to the weapon zoom not being iron sights. But this is my first playthrough of the game and I don't want to mod it with things that may affect gameplay, only cosmetics, and only cosmetics that fit the game and universe. Meaning that I would like to not have things like zoom and instead iron sights, and make it so people aren't potato faced but I don't want big breasted nude females that look like super models or anime characters either.

 

The only other concern is that my computer is pretty poor and while I can run both at a decent framerate I have to set the settings pretty low so mods that make the game look better but require better hardware are not going to be possible.

 

So I am hoping that you guys may be able to help me out but recommending some mods if any that I can use on my first playthrough that fall into the limits I stated above. Also, I didn't want to make the same thread for three game threads so I at least kept it Fallout related but if it matters, Fallout 3 mods will be fine since I intend to playthrough that one first. However Fallout New Vegas mod recommendations are welcome aswell so I can collect em while I play through Fallout 3.
