that works but i think it would be nice to have it noted somewhere in the menus that you have that ability to wear better armor or maybe the armor itself would have some sort of marker to tell you if you can wear it or not

hm... maybe in parenthesis it'll say (non-wearable), and once you're able to wear it, it won't have any parenthesis next to it?

Im attempting to make the mod i havent really got very far so far yet though and still trying to work out the details and things though like the whole health thing if theres a low max health then what are you gonna spend your level up points on i was thinking about making it so its only 5 points or something you level up with instead of 10 but thats still 250 points to spread between health magicka and stamina

hm, that is true.... maybe where you only gain one point when leveling up for health? Or possibly start off with less health, like say 50 points?

yah starting at lower health is deff a good idea i wonder if it would make it too much more difficult if at lower lvls you could gain 1 point per lvl and by 50 or more you could gain 5 per lvl

maybe just have it where you start off with 50 points, and each time you level, you can only distribute 5 points. that way, by the time you reach level, say, 80, max health will be 400, but that's only if you choose health every single time you level up.

I was also thinking about just having all the enemies be able to deal more damage then normal, but I think that's going to take a LOT longer than this.

Like this idea, but I think it would be better if it worked so combat is extremely realistic, quick and lethal, getting stabbed or slashed once should really be enough to kill a person with just about any weapon. To balance this, have armor work with a damage threshold New Vegas style.

Would also like to see old school magicka system, say you only regenerate one point every 60 seconds, but you have a quite large pool of it so you can cast when you need to but you have to choose very wisely when to use your stored up power because once it is depleted it will take at least a couple in-game days before it is restored. Basically want it to feel like Morrowind except without the weird restriction that you only regain magicka while asleep.

Don't know if it's already been suggested but healing should also be greatly reduced, you can do it with magic but that will of course drain precious power, so with this gameplay style potions would actually have a use (I played through the whole game on master and never needed a single one)

A 50 lb carry limit is incredibly limiting. Not only does this leave essentially no room at all for extra anything(even things like potions and ingredients add up quickly), it also doesn't count that some non-throw-away-able/non-sell-able quest items weigh up to 20 lbs.

On top of that, looting a dragon would be an incredibly tedious experience, and if you're going for hyper realism, arrows and gold (especially gold, which is very heavy irl) would also need to have weight....

we've already discussed this. We're changing all quest items that weigh 20lbs that can't be thrown away to either very little or to no weight at all. And remember, this is hardcore survivalism, meaning it's not necessarily realistic, but more strategy and thinking ahead, making the game harder. So, yea, you won't be able to loot every box you come across, but that's the entire point, it's to make you think "what's really worth carring with me, and what might help me if I'm going this way, or that way?"

Also, with the dragon scales and bones, unless you've been through the training needed to be able to wear, and then get your smithing skill high enough to make it, looking dragons is nearly pointless, except for the gold. And, we aren't making it definite that it's 50lbs, we might bump it up to 100lbs. But, then again, you can get the Steed Stone, which adds 100 points to your carrying weight, making it 150lbs to carry. And, I believe there are enchantments and potions that bring up your carry weight as well.
