Lord Slyther Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Greetings, Dark0ne, and any moderator whom it may concern... I clicked on the official thread at some file, and for some reason when I click "You can view this file here", it leads me to a server not found. I can still go in the Nexus, but the file leading me directly from the forums to the Nexus where the file is held, it couldn't connect. If somebody can fix this problem, that would be great! Thanks! Regards....Lord Slyther
herosinger Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 The problem is that the old forum posts link to now-nonexistent tessource.net pages.
jojo man Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Yeah, I've noticed the exact problem that Slyther described on at least a dozen different pages. If this could be fixed, it would be really cool!
Lord Slyther Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 Yeah, if Dark0ne could fix them, that would be great! I don't wanna have to go through the nexus and try to find the files itself. What I'm thinking is I might have to report my own post so a moderator should get the message, and help me out. But, um,,, should I do that? I heard the report feature is only for reporting exploit content, and not meant for communication....

I think you're right when you say that its only to be used for offensive\useless garbage or when you need a topic moved or some-such. But I'm sure the moderators will notice this sooner rather than later and will take the appropriate problem-solving steps.
Lord Slyther Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 Yeah, Woggiemonster did it before and helped the other guy by reporting his post just to get the mod's attention. I'll just wait until a moderator sees this thread....

Lord Slyther Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 He might be too busy, because I already sent a PM asking him how to install the YouTube BB code. It was for my forums, so I can provide my own forums with my YouTube vids, but that was days ago, and no response. So I see Buddah on right now, so I'll ask him.

buddah Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 This would take a coding change to accomplish (Only Dark0ne has access to this), I fight this one myself all the time....and I just copy the link from the forum thread and change the tessource.net to tesnexus.com and it will go to the file page. Dark0ne has limited time at present, studying for finals and writing term papers for a few courses, be a few weeks till he has an abundance of time. The youtube bb code: xxxxxxxx=file [ youtube]XXXXXXXXX[ /youtube] Without the spaces before youtube and /youtube pm's work good if I am on, most evenings 5pm -12pm central time.
