Plotina
Forgive me if this subject has already been addressed, as I did a quick survey of the last few pages in the forum and found no topic regarding my specific problem (though I do acknowledge that there are several threads which potentially hint at the solution to my current 'issue', if you want to call it that). Now, though I am grateful for Bethesda's little gift of the high resolution texture pack, my one grievance is that I am now unable to use a particular texture mod (any texture mod that modifies the appearance of faces; I had installed a couple of mods a while back to smooth out the wrinkles on the faces of women who by all accounts did not appear old enough to have them). My question is this: 1) Is this a problem that can be remedied in time with the advent of new mods of that particular nature due to the CK's release? Sunnie
This is easily fixed by adding the new HQ BSAs to the Archive entry in the Skyrim.ini (in your documents folder), and in the skyrim_default.ini (in the skyrim folder). [Archive]sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa Change the entry to look like that, then disable the esp files for the texture pack and thats it!
