IrishSpyral
Hi,I'm just wondering if it's possible to export an object (say a statue of sithis from the vile lairplugin in oblivion) and then import the file and re-texture it for Skyrim? amycus
technically possible, but it would be illegal even if you change the textures. Bethesda is, unfortunately, against any kind of porting even in their own games. At most you can use the resources from oblivion as a visual reference. IrishSpyral
So I'd have to re-make a 'similar' statue in blender and import that?
cire992
Yes, if you're planning to release it anyway. You can do whatever you want with your files for personal use. It's all rather hazy of course. For example if you had taken that statue mesh, changed its body shape, stuck pauldrons on it and recolored it, you COULD upload it. But only on the Oblivion Nexus.
