ThePhysicalReturnOfChrist Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I am having an issue with skyrim special edition and some odd bug or texture issue that cause my characters head to be discolored in comparison to the rest of the body. The image is on a SSE save that had mods enabled but at the time of the image there are no mods active. Please help. Thanks.
ErianDragonborn Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Is it the player character that has no colour or is it one of the NPCs? And if it is the player character, did you use mods on this save earlier? Did those mods change the player character's look?I know that if you start a game using 'coc [location name]' you get the grey face. I think it is because the game hasn't loaded the proper head yet. The problem is fixed if you open the race menu via console commands. I am not sure if you have to change the race and change it back in order for that fix to work, or whether just opening the race menu is enough.So if you play on PC, I suggest you use console commands and use the 'showracemenu' command.If you play on console, then I don't know how to fix it.The bug is quite well known for NPCs added by a mod. Just search for 'grey face bug' and you should find lots of information about it.
