Passwords Created on The Nexus Forums Rejected on Nexus Mods Sites

The password formats used on The Nexus Forums and Nexus mods websites like https://nexusmods.com/ are apparently not the same. This results in passwords created on and accepted by The Nexus Forums being rejected with "You have entered an incorrect username or password." on Nexus Mods even though I'm certain that the credentials entered are correct.

My guess is that the Nexus mods log-in system doesn't correctly handle slash characters as I've run into this problem on other websites.

This is highly unintuitive for users. Please fix the discrepancy.
