skipjack451
Hi guys, I've been tinkering around getting a cheap, Google Cardboard based VR solution working for Fallout. I've been pretty successful, using Trinus VR and Moonlight to handle streaming and control input and the fantastic SuperDepth3d ReShade plug-in to create SBS 3d. The problem I've encountered is SuperDepth creates SBS by taking information from the game's depth map. In Fallout 4, when you put on Power Armor there is actually a separate depth map for the power armor HUD which basically flattens everything beyond the HUD into a single plane, which means no 3d stereoscopic effect when wearing power armor. I've tried a number of HUD mods and HUD removers for the power armor but none of them remove the actual depth map. If anyone fancies having a bash at this, it'd be the best way to iron out the biggest problem in Fallout 4 homebrew VR ahead of the release of the true VR version of the game. Many thanks, Skipjack
