Enkida
Wow dude. That's a tall order. I'm trying out IA for the first time, and it's got incompatibilities with almost everything I've installed, from bugfixes to cosmetic changes. I'm not done parsing through my own files yet but I can tell you this: you can *make* it compatible with a lot of stuff if you pare it down to the bare essentials and then keep chipping away at it every time a conflict comes up. That seems to be the way *most* people who use IA tend to approach it. So in that respect, something you could do that a lot of people might appreciate is release an IA "light" - it might still require effort on the users' end to make it compatible, but at least it would be a base framework of "the most compatible modules" from IA. I'm sure opinions will differ on this, but so far, the most compatible "IA lite" I've found contains only these sections - and even from them, I am continually deleting file conflicts as I go along. 1. Global1.1 Animations 2. Modules2.1 Areas2.4 Conversations2.5 Scripts 4. Companions4.1 Dialogue Changes* 5. Awakening Expansion5.1 Areas 7. Extras7.2 Awakening Quick Items7.3 Optional Campaign Mods * 8. Custom * I am on the fence about these too, but so far keeping them in has not been too problematic Edited May 2, 2017 by Enkida
Thandal
Yeah, the problem is IA itself. Since it adds "a little something" to so many different parts of the game, it's potentially incompatible with any other mod that touches almost any part of the game. As using IA means not using so many other great mods, (or doing a huge amount of detective work) I removed it after just a few hours of gameplay shortly after I installed it and never looked back.
