opcion
hey I don't know if my pc is working as it should, these are my specs fx 6300 3.5mhz gtx 1060 6gb msi 970a-g43 plus 8gb ram 120hz monitor and I get like 45 fps on a clean install (60-30fps... playable I guess) and 25 when full modded with enb and reshade (30-15fps, so kinda unplayable) is that ok or is something wrong thanks. I'm playing with ultra settings btw
jones177
ENB is really hard on this game. I have a GTX 1080 & play at 3440 X 1440. At that resolution my rig is not powerful enough to use ENB. It is powerful enough for Reshade. My rig had no problem using ENB & maintaining 60fps in the old game at the same resolution. I think you would need a 1070 or 980ti to stay over 60fps at 1080 resolution with ENB. The old game needed a 980 or equivalent. Skyrim SE only really likes CPUs with powerful individuals cores. To get more performance you would need to get an i5, i7 or Ryzen 5/7 CPU. Modern games also like more ram. 16 is fine. I set my Shadows at medium. that gives me 7fps. Ultra Godrays only uses 3fps so I leave it on. Reshade uses 8fps. At 1440 I use little AA. The game will play smoothly in the 40s low 50s. That is what I do with my GTX 980ti 4k rig. It is silky smooth. You should be able to do that with your rig at 1080. You will still get some CPU drops into the 30s but this version has fewer drops than the old version.
