Qarls Texture Pack 3 is messing with me

Hey guys, I'm having some problems with this mod. Not sure if it's the pack-file, Qarl's or my fault. But the textures are not showing correctly in the game. I've come to the conclusion that it's the base-textures that wont show, but the _n do. And as you can imagine, this looks very wrong ingame.

I have the latest patch and OBMM, and installed everything as the readme told me to. I'm using the full-version of the mod with all textures and highres. And there're no other mods installed which changes any of these textures. Tried to re-install/activate it too.

 

I've checked the files to see that everything is there, which it is. So I tried to add the following line in my ArchiveInvalidation-file;

 

textures/architecture/farmhouse/stonewalk.dds

 

The path to the floor-texture of farmhouses. This made the texture appear correctly in the game! So apparantly, there seems to be something messed up with prioritizing the new textures from the old ones. My OBMM-skills are pretty non-existent, so maybe I've done something wrong, or missed some important settings?

 

I'm sure some of you knows what the problem is here :) But I have no idea, and I refuse to put paths for every texture of this mod into the Archive-file :P Thanks for any helping posts!

Okay, I found the solution. This wasnt mentioned in the OMOD-version I downloaded. But in Qarl's original readme you were instructed to change some OBMM-settings in order to make Oblivion unable to find the original-textures, which would force it to use the new ones instead. I tried this, and it seems to have fixed all my problems. Awesome stuff this is :D
