Hello,

I modified the suburbancouch.dds texture that I then applied with the GECK on the mesh and then placed the object in a house. But surprise, my game crash every time I enter the cell with the sofa.
For 3 days I looked desperately where the problem came from (folders, normal maps, mipmaps and other shits ...)
Finally I found one or two topics that mention that to change the textures of objects "furnitures" automatically crash the game or the GECK. Another topic mentions that only furnitures with "Markers" causes the crash.
So I tried to create a "Static" object with my texture is it worked, no crash and I can see my ingame object. But I'm not satisfied.

Is there a known and simple solution to correct this problem?

I've run across that too. I fixed it by opening the nif file in nifskope and changing the texture paths through that and saving it as a new mesh. For some reason the game just doesn't like using texture sets on furniture.
