Guest Messenjah
So, I know how to create custom animations in Blender, how to export any kind of NIF file, how to export animations out of blender and how to connect those animations to NIF files in NifSkope. I also know how to set them up in such a way that I can script them to animate any sequence I want through the scripting system. What I do NOT know how to set up, is paired animations (two characters performing an animation together). What I need is some kind of idea of how to go about setting a paired animation up as I need a couple of them for my mod. 1. In blender, I'm assuming that you would import two skeletons and two bodies/heads and then animate the armatures together, then delete the meshes and export the kf file as one animation? Or do you export each NPC's animation separately and script them so that they work together? 2. Is there a way to import a paired animation kf file into Blender as an example? How would I go about doing this? How are these set up within the GECK itself? I see a lot of expanded skeleton meshes and a lot of different animations that are set as paired animations but how would I go about setting them up from my end?
