Oblivion Crashes

Hiya people.

Right, when I load a save at the start of Oblivion, it crashes. The funny thing is, when I load any other save, it works fine. :wallbash: The problem is, I really don't want to start again, as I've finished the main quest. I'm running a heavily modded oblivion, NOT INCLUDING OOO or FCOM. I've prepared a couple of screenshots of my system specs with CPU-Z.

It's probably due to something in that save being bad. It could be something as simple as disabling a mod that that particular save had loaded, or adding a mod in the area that that save is in. Or it could be something more complicated as being a save in an area which is bugged by one of your mods, or bugged because of a conflict.

Could be many things in that issue. Corrupted save data, a mod no longer active that is required for the save, bad sector in the area of the saved game, that oblivion will not load. Unfortunatly the only fix i have found for that is a clean save file for said mods, but only a few mods actually have that option. My suggestion in the future is make sure that the mods your using and not save dependant. Other than that my friend you may have to start the game over, sorry

Did you disable or add any mods since you loaded the save succesfully for the last time. If so, then reenable/disable the mods in question and try again. If it's not that, it may be that your saves are truely corrupted and you will have to start over.

Another thing you might try is disabling all mods, except those that are obviously needed (race mods if your character is a custom race for example).
