cant raise quality

when i downloaded oblivion it said that it didnt recognize my graphics card so it set the graphics to "medium", Well i think medium is a pixely piece of ****! i didnt se any quality adjustment option in game so im guessing i have to edit something in a folder, does anyone know what and where?\

 

(i didnt recognize my graphics card because my graphics card is a 2008 one)

After double-clicking your desktop Icon, you should see an option for "Options" under "Play" and "Data Files". Click on it, you may have to look for an option that says "Video Options" (or something to that effect)and here you should be able to adjust your resolution, and several other video options. Hope this helps.

Just go to the options menu at startup and set it anywhere you want.

 

Launch oblivion, the select Options and set it where you want.

Also telling us what vid card you have will allow the best possible settings.

putting the antialasing up a bit worked :D thz alot!

 

(i have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO)

 

EDIT: the ingame quality is o.k. but the loading pictures look like a piece of pixely S**t, and so do all the signs in the game (ex, the best defence, kvatch >)

that is why we have mods, my good sir!

 

look on google for "total oblivion texture overhaul" they have most of the good texture mods, but not all.
