maxxbrown
Besides, Skyrim Nexus has hundreds of thousands of mods, it has a very large head start on Steam Workshop, and if modders are linking to Nexus on the workshop, people will see how many mods it has and download from there instead. Yes I'm sure its nice to just Subscribe to a modder and have those mods automatically download whenever you launch the game. But the Mod Manager is just as simple and easy to use, I don't think we have to worry.
Nerdmurai
TNA is pretty useless when you can't get on a site because it's been overloaded by traffic :P I have no doubt it'll die down eventually, but at least a temporary upgrade is in order I think to accommodate the influx. Noobs joining are the least of my concern though. Modders > Noobs. Edited February 11, 2012 by Christhesilent
Alourra
This sucks, I just formatted my computer today and the first thing I installed was Skyrim and NMM. Also, just curious, why all the hate towards Steam Workshop? I mean, I know not having a search function the first few days was horrible but that's fixed.
ValtielCurse
They only download mods from steam because they think is "easier", and because they are lazy, that's all.
Nerdmurai
I have no interest in s***ing on Steam workshop but my biggest complaint by far is the "Facebook-like" atmosphere it has. I don't want to subscribe to something. I also want to know what files I'm downloading... and where they're going in case I don't like this mod and want to remove it. But I don't have Skyrim on Steam so it's useless to me. Edited February 11, 2012 by maxxbrown
