UVIII crashing game?

I've recently began playing oblivion again. I have roughly 51 mods installed. Most minor enhancements to the game, via landscape. I have a few major game changing mods though. (Namely UVIII and Unholy Darkness). While using UVIII, often using the attack keys for UVIII in combat (not always but very often) will crash the game for me with no explanation at all. I have a bashed patch made, I sort my load order, all my mods are cleaned, I even went in and manually check in tes4edit to see if UVIII was conflicting with anything and it wasn't! Perhaps someone will be able to shed some light on why the combat crashes my game!
