Enkida
I've been searching around and I've not found any sort of general noble clothing replacer for Dragon Age besides a very NSFW one containing mini skirts, nipple clamps and body piercings. I know it can be done, since it IS done on said mod, which is hosted on the Nexus and apparently pretty popular. Nipple clamps aside, I really would just like to see a noble clothing replacer that doesn't make it look like the NPCs are wearing reflective saran wrap. It'd be nice if they were any one of the dozens of great noble clothing retextures that already exist out there, but no one seems to have ever made a total replacer mod. I know that someone more saavy with using the toolset could probably just open that up and replace the default robes with new ones by renaming the files or something, but I am definitely not a saavy toolset user. I can't even get the toolset properly installed on my machine, for that matter. I and I bet a lot of other people would really love it if there was just a generic default texture replacer out there, even if just to take the shine down on the existing clothing. Well, a better one than the single lonely BDSM mod that does exist, that is.
bisexualzuko
I've actually been working on some tweaks of the default. Not total redesigns per say, but tweaks to make them look more pulled together. I started working on it when I realised that the one Isolde wears has three different fabrics on the sleeves, skirt and torso. Which is frankly ridiculous and makes it look a lot less cohesive as a design. Here's a picture of my current work in progress on Isolde(morph by Hawkethority): http://i.imgur.com/nncew8d.pngI haven't done all of the variations yet, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with the mens' versions, but the biggest reason I haven't posted it yet is that I haven't gotten around to doing the specular maps. I personally never noticed them being overly shiny, but that could just be me.
Enkida
I would love to use that if you ever finished it. To be honest, the major shine problems occur mostly in the female human noble clothing that have "solid" designs - large swathes of unbroken fabric that I suppose is meant to represent silk or satin. But in the default vanilla game lighting, especially in the Human Noble origin, it just makes them all look extremely shiny. It does to a lesser extent on the men's noble clothing too. I found a way to decrease the "saran wrap" shine by simply installing sweetfx shaders that dull down the overall lighting and colours in the game, but that's really not a fix to the clothing problem, since it affects the rest of the game. Anyway, please keep me posted if you ever do finish your mod, it's desperately needed!
