After a few days of adding mods, mostly graphical improvements, I started dabbling with camera mods, more notably the "Immersive First Person View" mod.

Lately though, when I am in 1st person, the camera is zoomed in too far and I can't see my hands.

I tried other mods claiming to do the same thing, even tried giving up and turning off all immersion mods. But now every time, unless I'm zoomed in all the way in first person view, the still shows a first person perspective and the camera wobbles back and forth.

I even went as far as turning off all mods, with not success, it still wobbles.

Now I did make a copy of my Skyrim Vanilla folder, just so I could start over.

My two questions are:

1. Does anyone know a fix for the initial problem?

2. Would starting over by copying the backup in my Steam folder mess with the rest of the mods?

Specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8370

GPU: GTX 1060

RAM: 16Gb

OS: Win. 10 Home

Assuming you were also trying Immersive first person, in the Data/Scripts folder, check for IFV.pex. In Data/SKSE/Plugins, check for FirstPersonView.dll and FirstPersonView.txt. If they're still there, remove or rename them. Immersive First Person doesn't have an .esp file, so it's less straightforward and my first guess would be that it didn't get completely removed. In theory, if the script and .dll are gone, then the camera should return to normal. It's a good thing to start with anyway.

Check your FOV settings in Immersive First Person View. I haven't used that mod, but I believe there are settings in the MCM under Profile. If that doesn't work, you can reset your FOV manually by opening the console (~) and typing "fov". You can also set your FOV to any number you like (e.g. "fov 75").
