Star control quest not starting

I've played about 180 hours. I've done a lot of the main quest and unlocked most of the areas in the main game. I've finished the Mechanist storyline and all that's done. I've also finished all of Far Harbor completely and it's finished all areas. It's completely finished.

I started on Nuka World just now and it was going pretty well. I got up to where I had to secure the locations and I went into Galaxy World. I actually finished the entire area. I cleared out all areas and got all the star cores before I realized there was suppose to be a quest associated with it. So I checked and it was suppose to unlock/start automatically once I entered the zone. It didn't. The quest didn't start at all.

Then I looked for the body of Tiana (I think) the trader, and can't find her anywhere either. So I need to figure out how to get the quest to start. I have figured out a command console to spawn her holotape so if I can get the quest itself to at least start I can just spawn the holotape and get it activated so I can move it into the next step and finish the quest?

Any advice is appreciated, or if there is a console command to just "start" the quest itself then I think I can handle the rest.

An update here.. I've tried everything and nothing works.

I've experimented with the set stage. I checked LOOT and the DLC number for Nuka World is 06. Then I looked it up on the wiki to get the ID for the quest: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Control which is 01e34a

Then I tried it all

setstage 0601e34a 0

setstage 0601e34a 00

setstage 0601e34a 01

setstage 0601e34a 10

setstage 0601e34a 20

setstage 0601e34a 50

I tried set stage with and without capitals (setstage and SetStage). It does something but doesn't throw any errors but the quest never shows up in my quest log. The issue is the quest never loaded into my quest log when I entered the zone, and it didn't actually load the NPC that was dead either. She never showed up. After playing I used a command and got the holotape of hers to appear but even reading that didn't do anything.

I'm stuck and now sure how to proceed. Any advice is appreciated. I played around with various console commands for over an hour trying to get some type of affect. If I can get the quest itself to add itself to my quest log at an early stage (First stage) then I could go ahead and use the command console to add her holotape and from there I could continue the quest like normal. I can't continue further without it though because I almost have all the star cores and want to get the quest caught up before I risk finishing that part.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, kind of stuck at the moment.

Thanks!

Nobody responded so I'm guessing very few people ran into the issue. I spent a great deal of time debugging this and finally found a solution online.

I blogged about it here, with links to where I found the solution in case anyone runs into this issue in the future and needs assistance. I can confirm it worked.

I did a write up about how to solve the issue using the feedback found online here.

Necro, maybe, but the only problem I currently have with Star Control quest not starting is that I completed Open Season beforehand (several times without issue either), and now all of a sudden the quest doesn't auto-trigger unlike it has before. In previous play throughs, I was able to complete Open Season before exploring the rest of Nuka World and the Star Control quest would activate as I approached the Galactic Zone. I have tried several different methods and now I'm stuck with a console fully loaded with all 35 STAR Cores and no way to reboot the console and kill off the defensive system.

If you type "ShowQuestAliases DLC04GZMainQuest" in the console, what do you see? Are the aliases NONE? Or do you see RefIDs?
