How to create a vendor/trader using the CK?

OK, I've been looking through the Creation Kit site and referenced a few vendor NPCs in-game by looking at their AI packages, but I can't seem to figure out how to make an NPC a vendor. I remember in the GECK and previous CK it was really easy. I'm probably missing something obvious, but if anyone could tell me how to set up an NPC as a vendor, I'd be very grateful.

I think that I'd first need to setup a "Merchant container", if the system works like it does in Fallout 3. This would be the vendor's inventory. But where would I go from there? Please help.

Well in the Creation Kit, just look at what kind of properties the vendor entities have. Maybe write a script? I don't have much experience with Bethesda modding so maybe there is a very simple way to do this.

Theres a faction called JobMerchantFaction which has options for setting up a vendor.

I haven't played around with this or anything, but it's what I found at first glance.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Gotta' love this inheritance structure.
