RageAgainstTheMachine
Hello,So i want create a new armor (weapon and structure too...) with Blender, at this time I can open a skyrim file (.obj) in Blender, with nifskope, but if i open a body, i don't have the skeleton, i'm not sure if it's normal. And i can't place the new armor (that i made on blender) on Skyrim!I just want to have every program in the good version! (I prefer Blender 2.6 but saw that i must use 2.49, who is ugly...)Thank you

ResolveThatChord
Well, you can still do most of your modelling, unwrapping, and weighting work in Blender 2.6x. You can then put your mesh into 2.49 for export, using the append feature.I strongly recommend doing your sword idea first. It's far simpler to get it into the game, and the experience will help a lot when you want to get your armour working in game, which can be a tedious and frustrating experience, requiring much testing and tweaking.Model, unwap and texture your sword, then export to .obj and follow this tutorial. There's also a tutorial on Nexus for getting armour in game. As for the Skeleton, you can't get it by exporting to .obj because .obj files don't hold that kind of data; you'll need to import directly from .nif to Blender 2.49 using the .nif scripts. Hope this helps. Good luck with your creations. Remember that the first time you try to get it to work is by far the hardest. Stick with it, come back to it, and each time you succeed it'll get easier and easier.
RageAgainstTheMachine
Thank you a lot Resolve! I did the tutorial of TESAlliance, but I have a problem, when I replace the weapon (1stpersonirondagger) with my weapon, when I go to the game, I can't play with this dagger: there is a crash when I equip it! Maybe There is something missing...
ResolveThatChord
That is strange. I didn't know this kind of thing could cause CTDs; you tend to get a lot of purple exclamation marked boxes in game, or invisible objects when you mess with the meshes and make mistakes, but I've never heard of a CTD as a result of swapping a weapon... Although that could happen if your polycount was ridiculously high. You're not using sub-surf, are you? Post a bit more detail about the problem, and I'll see what help I can offer. If you like you can PM me the .nif and I can have a look at it.
RageAgainstTheMachine
I think speak here can be helpful. So what is CTD?And the problem is solved!! I won!! I have done my dagger! In replacing the iron dagger lol, now I wanna do a weapon on the CK, is there anything to change? Like the blood... And I don't have a texture, but this isn't a big problem, I just don't have the technic to make a texture with the UV thing...After that, I will do an armor!! ResolveThatChord
CTD: Crash To Desktop (a flawed acronym; "to" should be discluded, so it should be CD). A lot of modders get intimidated by UV unwrapping. Really there's not much to it (unless you're intereted in maths or cartography); it can just be tedious if you have a complex object. Here's a tutorial on how it works. It should be a simple matter for a dagger. Texturing of course is another complex skill you'll have to learn, but well worth it. huntsman2310
_n= Normal map (dictates how light affects the object,) _g= Glow map (a black and white version of the texture, with the white parts denoting the glowing areas.)
