Notifications Button

I dont know if its just me but my notifications button seems to be not working and im afraid ive missed several updates as when i click the button it looks as tho its gonna load up my updates but never fully does and then once i click on another part of the screen to shut it after waiting for several minutes it resets and shows i have no more updates at this time. Is anyone else having this issue? I guess i could check in NMM for updates but was just wondering if its happening to anyone else. Sometimes when it does load it doesnt show the updates but shows an error but i cant remember what teh error was as it hasnt happened(Shown an error) for a bit.
