Can you switch the mesh of a newly created follower to a whole new mes

I'm new to modding, I will admit that now before I begin.

 

What I want to do is create an entirely new follower (I've done this, I think) but instead of it having a (for example) DarkElf mesh with a morphed face, I want the mesh of Tali from Mass Effect 2 to be the follower's mesh (along with her textures).

 

Yeah, basically I want Tali in my game. I'm obsessed, okay?

 

I've done some googling and looked through tutorials and the like but I cannot find out how to do this (or if you can) so any help you could offer would be lovely, as would a tutorial about how to make followers if there is one.
