Hadok
I wanted to make a quest in which the person you are talking to tries to attack you if you refuse to help him. That seems simple and common. I wanted to copy the script from the quest "In My Time of Need" in which if you refuse yo help Kematu, he attacks you: http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/9966/scriptingfailturecopia.png Does anyone see what I did wrong? It was quite easy doing it in Oblivion, I don't know what happens. I will thank any advices! PD: Of course the current script will make KematuFaction and not my NPC to attack you, but I just wanted to show that te exact script doesen't work either. leptok
It looks like it doesn't have enough info, are those variables declared somewhere?
Hadok
The script has been copied and pasted from and existent quest, so KematuFaction and PlayerFaction must exist. But when copy and paste it in my own quest it reports that error. The error is the same when I put my NPC ID instead of KematuFaction, which worked properly in Oblivion
Hadok
Ok, I haven't found an explanation, but rather a solution. The correct command seems to be: akSpeaker.StartCombat(Game.GetPlayer())
LoginToDownload
This is a bit late, but have you replaced KematuFaction with a faction specifically designed for your NPC, or with the NPC itself? SetEnemy doesn't work with individual NPCs. Edited February 12, 2012 by LoginToDownload
