LinkMasters
So, I got Exnems EyeCandy Mod and it was pretty awesome, and then I found HG EyeCandy tonight and DL'ed it as an OMOD. Soooo, I went through the steps in OBMM to install it (What kind of hips, tit size etc etc) and was pretty psyched to see what it would look like in game. So, I start Oblivion up (With OBSE, Doubt that has anything to do with it) and load up my character, but I see no changes! :( One particular change I don't see is the Underwear option that I selected while installing it, nor any of the mini changes that were mentioned in the readme. As this MAY be a Validation issue, I don't know what to do because I'm having problems with my ContentValidation (Forum Thread Here ) Any help would be highly appreciated as I spent like 2 hours downloading it on dialup :wallbash: :thanks:

LinkMasters
Well, as far as my understanding is, an OMOD is like a SetUp.exe Installer, difference being it's used for TES4:Oblivion in conjunction with Oblivion Mod Manager. So coming to your installation of the files, you've put the necessary files into the texture/Mesh etc etc but they don't show up. Did you drag the "Texture" and "Mesh" folder into your "Data" folder, whereas it would then ask to overwrite some folders (Perfectly normal)? If you did, then right now, the only thing that would come to mind is to use a ArchiveInvalidation tool. I don't have the FULL grasp of what it does, but I'm told it helps in some cases. Try downloading one of those and come back and tell me the results. The one I'm using is Eiche's Content Validator, here is the link for it, I uploaded to rapidshare, as i couldn't remember where I got it from . druggieuzer
you mean download omod? or somthing similar? i'd really rather not. im on dial up and i'd have to download the 40 meg file again for omod compatability. ive been placing these textures all in the data files various places more than once.... my brother just bought 3 gig's so it's taking me no time to move them somewhere else open the game to see if its working then close it and try again. LinkMasters
Nah, the link I gave is for an ArchiveInvalidation tool. Sometimes when working with textures and Mesh's, the stuff doesn't want to show up in game, and this little tool helps. I think it's around a ~250kb download, so relatively small for a Dial up download (I, too, am cursed with dial up -_-) But as I was saying with the dragging of the files. From opening up the zip file, select Texture and Mesh and Drag it into your Oblivion\Data folder. Doing so pops up some messages asking if you want to overwrite blah blah blah. Either select Yes or Yes to all. IF this is what you WERE doing, then I'm sorry. Was just a small misunderstanding.

LinkMasters
That's great ^_^ Now I just need help with mine lol. Won't be able to fix like you as both of them are OMODs
OnyxNightBlack
The OMOD works for me, but before it was released I manually installed them. It's a hassle, but you should do that if the OMOD refuses to work.
