MightyZ0G
last night I added a couple of mods but they caused a CTD so I removed them and the game loaded and played fine. I make my way back to Sanctuary and Preston looked like this so far it affects Preston and Codsworth but it doesn't affect Dogmeat or any raiders or settlers (or at east none of the ones I met before noticing this) the other named settlers from Sanctuary are all ok. anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I tried turning off shaders in ENB (although I didn't expect it to work as an ENB error would probably affect everyone) and it made no difference. any and all help appreciated
ibldedibble
Just a guess here, but it almost looks/sounds like one of the mods added a yellow version of "Targeting HUD" that only targets companions and your save file has some script left from that mod that keeps it going. Try reloading a save from before you added the mods and see if it's still there.
MightyZ0G
none of the mods should have added anything like that. but yeah, after a few fast travels round the map and no change, I went to an earlier save and it seems ok. I'm so glad I make manual saves every so often.
kraag
Sim Settlements "Find Unemployed" or "Find Homeless" feature spell does that. There was a bug in old versions that would make the Switch item break if left on while not in a settlement, but has been fixed.
